Vetting Guidelines

Exhibitors at The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair are held to the highest professional standards and all merchandise must conform to standards of authenticity. All objects are required to be clearly labeled with a complete description, date and condition, including restoration details. No piece is admitted that has undergone major restoration or has been restyled, married or embellished. There are no reproductions or new or contemporary castings of jewelry, sculptures, etc. from vintage, original molds. Consequently, the workmanship represented at The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair is the finest of its kind from across the United States and abroad.
